Sosie Bacon is an actress who is the daughter of actors Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. While she has several credits today, it was initially decided by her parents that she was not to pursue acting. However, her debut role in her father’s movie, Loverboy, sealed her career path. Afterward, she appeared in four episodes of The Closer. She put a pause in her career to study acting and musical theater.

After her studies, she resumed her acting career and focused on it. Her first major role was in the indie film Off Season. She became widely known for starring as Skye Miller in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why and as the lead actress in Here and Now. She also starred in another Netflix series, Narcos: Mexico, as Mimi Webb Miller. Her current projects include Traces, Mare of Easttown, and On the Spectrum.
