Just like her parents, Carrie also entered show business and had her debut in the 1970s. Her first film project was Shampoo, which was released in 1975. A few years later, she landed a major credit in Star Wars IV – A New Hope, alongside Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. Since then, she appeared in most movies of one of the most successful franchises in history. Apart from the big screen, she also appeared on television in shows like Sex and the City and Smallville.
