Domhnall Gleeson | Son of Brendan Gleeson

Domhnall Gleeson is an Irish actor and screenwriter who became known for his Broadway play The Lieutenant of Inishmore, where he earned a nomination from the Tony Awards. He was also praised in numerous critically-acclaimed films like Ex Machina and The Revenant, led by Leonardo DeCaprio. Brendan Gleeson, his father, is an award-winning actor, who has a long list of accolades, including two BIFA and a Primetime Emmy Awards. Among Brendan’s notable works are Harry Potter as Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody and 28 Days Later.

Going back to Domhnall, he also holds great achievements of his own. He had his degree in Media Arts at the Dublin Institute of Technology and he has three IFTA Awards just like his father. In 2015, he landed an important role in the box-office hit Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as General Armitage Hux, which he reprised in the next two movies. In 2018, he did voice acting as Mr. Jeremy Fisher in the animated film Peter Rabbit.
