When it comes to long lasting marriages, the marriage between Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance, definitely belongs to the list. Who would have thought that they knew each other while attending Yale School of Drama? Fast forward to 14 years and they crossed paths while they were both single. Three years into their relationship, and the couple tied the knot and has been together since then.

The two share twins via surrogacy who were born in 2006 which made their family complete. With both parents being celebrities, it is not surprising that their earnings will be turned to investments to support their children. Bassett’s recent work is in 9-1-1 where she plays LAPD patrol sergeant Athena Nash who truly embody a strong woman on the field.
