Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes began their romance almost a decade ago, and they’ve maintained an extremely private relationship all these years. So far, the celebrity couple appeared together only once on the red carpet while promoting The Place Beyond the Pines in 2012, and we still can’t find many photos of the couple on social media. While their romance has flourished behind closed doors, Gosling and Mendes have proven the degree of love they have for each other by staying together until now.

The pair hit it off while co-starring on the movie The Place Beyond the Pines, and several years later, they have given birth to their two daughters: Esmeralda Amada and Amada Lee.  It appears that keeping things private has its perks. It can be very helpful in maintaining a relationship, after all. We might see some more couples keep their loved ones away from the limelight if that is the case.
