At the time, the hitmaker was married to her second husband, Cris Judd, whom she met on her music video set for Love Don’t Cost a Thing. Affleck said he and Lopez were really good friends, so there was no thought of a romance. However, when Lopez parted ways with Judd, she and the Gone Girl actor started dating.

What the public thought was a fairytale romance ended in confusion. The celebrity duo postponed their wedding ceremony because of unwanted public attention. By January 2004, they called it quits. They’ve moved on with their lives and even married other famous personalities, but they eventually ended their respective romances years later. As you might have guessed, Affleck and Lopez rekindled their relationship in April 2021. This time they better hit the gas before the public sways them again.
