Tracee Ellis Ross | Daughter of Diana Ross

Tracee Ellis Ross is the daughter of the legendary Diana Ross with her former husband, music producer Robert Ellis Silberstein. Just like her parents, Tracee stepped into the world of the entertainment industry. She followed in her mother’s footsteps specifically and became a singer and actress herself. In 1994, she studied theater at Brown University. Not only did she get her mom’s acting chops and soulful voice, but she also got her natural beauty and finesse. Tracee worked as a model on the side, collaborating with fashion magazines such as New York and Mirabella. She gained critical acclaim and mainstream success for her lead role in the television series Girlfriends.

Tracee earned several acting credits from films, including Sue Lost in Manhattan, Daddy’s Little Girls, The High Note, Hanging Up, and Labor Pains. Aside from Girlfriends, she appeared in other television shows such as CSI, Black-ish, and Private Practice.
